Foley will be rooming with Bob Ney...

...as both "dry out."

Just off the news wire: Following the lead of disgraced Ohio Congressman Bob Ney, Mark Foley has entered rehab for alcoholism! More and more, this is becoming THE preferred excuse for nearly every bit of bad judgment or behavior.

My, my -- it's going to be CROWDED at the clinic when Hastert, Boehner and other GOP leaders also quit and enter rehab! See this: http://www.wpbf.com/news/9965384/detail.html

Mark Foley has been in Congress 12 years...

Did he play any role in impeaching President Clinton over Monica? How can we look up that sort of history?

Monday, October 2, 2006 01:02 PM

Did he think he'd get away with that?

I'm sure this has been said already?

How, in this day and age of electronic survaillance and searchable telecommunication records, did Foley think he was going to get away with this?

And doubly so when he help pass the legislation against this sort of thing.

My god the stunning hubris of the republican party must be colassal.

It reminds me of watership down when evil is strong, but my god, evil is stupid.

Do you think there's more? Following the 80/20 rule, there's probably more.

Why are GOP members so pervy..?

Take a look at their history... kid fuckers, gay kid fuckers... the more a GOP member pontificates about morality, the more likely it is that they've got some 17-year old male page duct-taped to their bed...

RE: timbuktom

Of course he had something to say:

"It's vile," said Rep. Mark Foley, R-West Palm Beach. "It's more sad than anything else, to see someone with such potential throw it all down the drain because of a sexual addiction."

Isn't it ironic...

that the folks from the party that espouses "jail is rehab" are often the first to find their way to a rehab program?

Good for Brian Ross for not agreeing to Foley's request.

This from a liberal Dem....

Much as I enjoy reading "State of Denial" with CNN in the background (I'm having a great day thank you), Begala just suggested we depose every last member of Congress to find out who knew what. I think it's a stretch to believe that this scandal was not coctail party whispering for some time now. If they knew something; Repub. or Dem. Their asses should be thrown out forever. I'm sick of all these pampered, do-nothing, twits shuffling up to the trough of America, helping themselves to money, golf trips, young boys, and young lives to feed their enormous egos. I don't recognize this place anymore. This is end-stage Rome.

Here's what you need to do

Saw off Foley's penis with a serrated knife and put a bullet in Hastert's head. As a warning to the others.
