Democrats may come to regret not opposing Bush on torture

    I made the mistake of reading Glenn's article first, posting my letter, and THEN reading through the other postings, so sorry for the double posting.

    I don't know who Rob H. is, but he is probably one of the Democratic consultants that is running the Party into the ground. How can the Democrats possibly vote FOR the torture bill? Apparently approximately 30 of the Congressional Dems, including Tennessee Demo. Senate Candidated Harold Ford and Ohio Demo. Senate Candidate Sherrod Brown voted FOR the House version of the torture bill. Shame on Ford and Brown! Couldn't they at least abstain from the bill, or vote "present," if they couldn't bring themselves to make a principled stand on torture?

    AMERICANS DON'T TORTURE.!!!! Democrats will look STRONG if they somehow come to their senses and stop Bush's torture bill.
