ok I'll give him that one

I'll concede that in a tragic way, that's kind of funny. There, now I have a defensible position when I spew my vitriol about his inane and damaging policies and people say, "You just hate him personally". I think if the prez was on a stool at my neighborhood bar like Norm from Cheers he might actually be entertaining to watch as he drinks himself into oblivion.

Re-visit later

Let's see how much New Orleans and Katrina are discussed later, say, after the election in Novemeber.

Operation Shiny Keys

Look, over there, it's Jon Benet Ramsey in her Las Vegas showgirl outfit, making google-eyes at the cameras.

Look, over there, they caught Warren Jeffs with his google-eyes, just north of Las Vegas.

Look, over there, it's Hurricane Ernesto, making google-eyes at Florida.

Look, over there, it's Mark Karr, making google-eyes through the bars of his cell.

Bush is in New Orleans? What's New Orleans? There was a hurricane? When? Oh. That's sooooo 12 months ago.

Nothing to see here people, move along.

Can't We Fire This Asshole?

I mean really. He's awful.

Try to imagine Mike Brown, only more incompetant. Now make him a religious nut and an insensitive lout at the same time...take that, and dumb it down.

Way down.

You'd be pretty close to the President we have right now. Everytime I hear one of these lines I cringe, then I get mad at the Red State dickheads who get an erection everytime they here "Bin Laden" or "9-11".

Grow a pair America. We got attacked. It sucks. Now let's end our abusive relationship with the GOP and try to make this country great, safe, and strong again.

Want to see what the 9th Ward actually looks like?

Go to Google maps, get the "map" view, search for New Orleans, LA, look for the area just south of Florida Ave., just east of Surekote Rd. (which runs alongside the canal). Zoom in and then switch to satellite view. That's the north end of the 9th Ward.

The Personification of Evil

He stands on a pile of money barking out his falsehoods, like GWB is a good president holding steadfast at the helm.....we've got a good grip on Iraq....

He lies through his teeth, bullies anyone he can't convince with lies, then twists words around. GWB may have finally admitted that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 but Cheney still tries to make the association whenever he can.

We are in this mess because of this man, not GWB. GWB can't mastermind his way out of a cardboard box. Cheney and his cronies are the true fascists at work here. His resigning bonus with Haliburton will probably break records....His true master, Satan, will reward him for a job well done.

Bush...

put more people on his side with that one response than all of your meaningless handwringing will ever do to take him down.

He's honest and you all are hysterical.

Hey Joe!

Do they (RNC? Heritage foundation?)pay you to add a bush loyalist comment to every single comment string in salon or can you just not face the fact that daddy actually is kind of a dick.

Wednesday, August 30, 2006 04:54 AM

Ok so he's a fucking moron

But he's our fucking moron.

Joe's in the know...

The problem with the "Joes" (among other the other "Annie bat your gums" -lite people)is that Cheney and his ilk don't really like them much at all. Really. I can not imagine the smirks that cross his face when he sees humans bying his rhetoric and then defending his warped vision. Your continued defense of their antics makes you loathe to them at levels you will never comprehend. That's the way their minds work. They play you and your ilk like out-of-tune harps. I encourage you to continue. This way Cheney and Co. can continue to hate you as much as he does your freedom to do so. It increases his hate pool. Good luck. You are going to need it.

Joe, Joe, Joe

Bush is honest? What type of sleeping pill do you take? But you must give him that, his mission was accomplished in convincing Joe that he is honest, actually this is the second Joe to whom that happened, Lieberman being the other.

Wednesday, August 30, 2006 08:20 AM

What I said...

Is still true. You guys rant and rave about how dumb and stupid Americans are, spouting the newest conspiracy theories while Bush makes a simple statement that went directly to how he handled Katrina.

When he makes an honest statement you people won't see it for what it is because you just hate him that much.

Wednesday, August 30, 2006 09:08 AM

What's wrong with hating incompetence?

Joe is right. The more we hate Bush, the stronger he gets. We must start to love him and then maybe his head will explode.

Wednesday, August 30, 2006 02:58 PM

One line trumps a year of incompetence?

"Bush put more people on his side with that one response..." - joe Tuesday, August 29, 2006 18:32:03

Yeah, the same people who thought his video of looking under a table for WMD was hilarious.

Some of the folks he turned his back on might find ironic humor in his comment, but I doubt it put them on his side.
