The Republicans are above politics and support the rule of law.

Of course the brief filed in his official capacity by the Texas Attorney General on behalf of Tom Delay is strictly based on the law.

Why is this guy still around?

The is clearly gulity of the crimes he committed and yet, he acts like the mugshot taken of him when hs was put in custody. All smiles and rainbows on the outside, but probably a big black hole in his soul. He said he was going to retire and now he wants to be put on the ballot again? He is calling judges to act in ways he clearly fought against years ago since he thought they would be against him and now he wants them be more "activist" and listen to the petitions being sent to him on his behalf. Damn, I wonder what exactly those petitions say since I ponder good in left in Mr. DeLay anyway. The moral of this story is that some people never learn. I only hope the people of Texas know different now.
