Settling for what we can get

I, for one, would like to see some current and former Bush administration officials convicted of crimes they comitted in office and not just lying about the acts after the fact.

However, I fear that if the Democrats once again have the ability to launch investigations with subpoena power that they will decline to do so. After all, the Republicans might retaliate by doing something that they'll probably do anyway if there's advantage in it.

Typo?

"If the first Abramoff trial, a Bush administration official is convicted"

I don't understand this sentence. It looks like a typo. Perhaps the first word should be "In?"
