Not exactly
I'm no fan of Ann Coulter, but in the effort of fairness, fragging does not neccesarily mean killing a commanding officer. I believe it includes any type of intentional injury.
-
To each its own.
Ann Coulter is the reason why men invented . . . homosexuality.
-
No offense meant, Carbrando...
<<I've heard she parties a lot and has lots of gay friends>>
If you're implying she's gay/lesbian (depending on what's behind that Adam's apple issue), that may be. Goddess knows, we in the LGBT community have had a lot of self-hating queers in our midst (Roy Cohn among them) but the last thing we need is Ann Coulter.
So no offense, but the members of the LGBT community I know don't want to claim her...then again, the majority of the straight community doesn't either...
Maybe the cockroaches would want her as a member of their species? ("Hello, White House office of Darth Cheney? Would you like to claim Ann Coulter?") ;-)
-
Ann Coulter...
...should be repeatedly anally raped with a barbed dildo. That's a good one, right? Oh well, I'm sure Ann finds it funny. That kind of stuff is knee-slappingly hilarious, and if you don't get it, well then you're just a humorless liberal.

Serious Notebook's Suggestion is Best
I endorse Serious Notebook's suggestion that Republican elected officials should be asked specific questions requiring Yes or No answers on whether they agree with Ann Coulter's statements and why. Best idea for dealing with that spitting cobra that anyone has come up with yet.
As for Ann herself-- It's been five years, and if you want to try converting Al Qaeda members to Christianity, when are you going to turn off your computer, get up off your fanny and go DO it? I hear recruitment quotas are getting harder to fill all the time. Put your money where your mouth is. Then you'll find out our troops are fighting an unnecessary war over weapons that weren't there with inadequate money, equipment, troop power and leadership, and the president is not interested in fixing any of that. "Support the Troops" is about as meaningful now as "Mission Accomplished." And maybe she'll see why more and more Americans have turned against this war. Short of that, though, I fear she'll never get it.

Why?
This is the same woman who's wished death on dozens of groups, notably the entire staff of the New York Times. Why would yet another insult mean her end?
There's only one thing that will stop her spreading her particular brand of hatred. Only one thing will, permanently, shut her up, ensuring she never has a chance to whip up hysteria against the non-extreme-right. I think you know what I'm talking about: a jolly good talking to. That's what. Only if we make it absolutely clear to her that, y'know, it's ok to have these views, she has her views, we have ours, and that's alright, but, y'know, the world might be a nicer place, for her, for everyone, if she adopted slightly different views, and a pro-people, pro-friendship, pro-inclusiveness point of view, and a respect for those with views different to those of her own, so we as a people can move forward, building a world with love, rather than virtiol.
-
I like Serious Notebook's sugestion, too... BUT
When was the last time a Republican spokesperson/politician gave a straight answer to a question like that? Has anyone seen a White House press briefing lately?
You would have to add at the end of the question: "If you choose to dodge this question, I'll take it as an endorsement of her views."

Coulter
Carbrando, that is an excellent suggestion! It is my understanding that Coulter has falsified her driver's license. Her birth date on her license in CT is different from the birth date on the license that she took out in DC. That is a violation of the Patriot Act - mayshe she'll go to jail! Seriously, does anyone know any investigative reporters or private dicks?
-
Guilt By Association Time
So Ann Coulter now publicly suggests injuring and possibly even killing a US Congressman that she disagrees with...and the mainstream media and the GOP do nothing to strongly or immediately condemn her statement. Fine. Then as far as I'm concerned, Jay Leno, Chris Matthews, Ken Mehlman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dennis Hastert, John Podhoretz, and Adam Nagourney for starters support the true maggot-riven heart of the GOP that Coulter represents. If they won't strongly and publicly say Coulter has gone WAY WAY TOO FAR, then they're just as guilty as her of favoring this heinous act.
-
Ann's Time Is Coming, Don't You Worry
Considering the escalation of her rhetoric, it is only a matter of time before Coulter makes a public (and recorded) utterance that is a clear incitement to murder or some other form of violence. Then it'll be perp-walk time, and bye-bye baby. The law, after all, is the law.

from PublishersWeekly.com today
"Ann Coulter’s rants against 9/11 widows paid off in the expected way as her book Godless is at the top of many bestseller charts this week. Among the lists it hit were all eight regional Book Sense charts, although its performance varied by region.
Godless did best among Southern California stores where it hit the number 2 spot. It finished number 3 on the Mid-Atlantic regional list, at 4 on the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance list, and 5 on the Heartland Independent list (which combines GLBA and MBA). The book did less well on the Mountains and Plains, Northern California and Pacific Northwest lists where it clocked in in the ninth position. On the New England Booksellers Association list, Godless was tenth."
I'm not sure what to do about Anne, but any way to make her a little less rich would satisfy me immensely. Unfortunately it seems like she speaks for a lot of people. And that's the most worrying thing of all...

Cool it on Coulter
Ok, we all know what s/he is and we all know why s/he's still put on television. Simply, s/he's a liar who stirs controversy. The networks know it, we know it. So, by not responding to anything s/he says we can stem her ability to create controversy. Hopefully, like those pathetic, idiotic bullies on the playground, s/he'll go away when ignored.
