Pray for us, the American people, that we may be rescued from the harm this man has done for us. WE need the prayers not the President!

Say What?
While I would love to imagine Thomas meant legal trouble, I am certain he is only referring to Bush's dismal poll numbers that his view reflect the ignorance of an ungrateful America who can't appreciate the devinely given president.

think bigger
Why stop at praying for Americans? It could be pointed out that we are getting just what we deserve for having elected* this walking catastrophe, this would-be dictator, and foisted him upon the rest of the world -- who had no say in that process. They deserve our prayers, and the hope for divine intervention of some kind, at least as much as we do.
*assuming that this is in fact the case; this could, of course, be a bad assumption

Amen
Amen. Amen.

What Would Jesus Do?
That joke of a jurist, inflicted on us by Daddy Bush, is praying for her brother? Unfortunately, she has a few brothers, all in deep need of saving. We can only assume he meant "The Decider."
Assuming their is an Almighty, who holds the rights to "Christian" principles, how do you suppose those prayers would be answered? I guess getting struck down by lightning is too much to ask for...

Woops... re my previous post:
My bad... that would be: "Assuming THERE is an almighty...

Clarence Thomas
Um, GWB doesn't have a (living) sister.

Pray for People to Stop Praying
Dear Justice Thomas -
I wish that I could pray for the President in his time of need, but I gave up praying when you were appointed to the Supreme Court.
-
What happened to support the troops?
Remember when Republicans were saying "support the troops" ? Shouldn't they now be saying "pray for the troops". If Iraq was not becoming a lost cause, we would not be encourged to pray.

living sister
Bush the Elder and his consort Bar spawned 6. 1 died - a girl. There were 4 boys: George, Marvin, Jeb and Neil. The 6th was a girl and I think she was part of the rable rousers trying to stop the vote count in Florida - back when America was a kinder and gentler nation.

Without a prayer
Thomas manages to demonstrate all the reasons why he should have never been confirmed to the Supreme Court. He is too cozy with the Bush family. He affects a piety that comes across as sanctimonious. He is obviously political in a way that contradicts his claim made in the past that court decisions are not affected by politics. Ultimately, he is a crony. Save the prayers for the country that has been victimized by the Bush family.

What a lovely prayer circle
So, the most appalling ignoramus ever appointed to the Supreme Court is praying for the most embarrassing imbecile ever “elected” to the presidency of the United States. All set in motion by the appointment of the ignoramus by the father of the imbecile, and heartily approved by an electorate of ignorant savages.

Justice Thomas and George W. Bush
Dear Justice Thomas,
In view of your role in getting us into this mess, in the first place, wouldn't it be more appropriate to express some 'buyer's remorse'?
When Mr. Bush gets done assuming the responsibilities of the legislative branch, the judicial will be next. That, on the other hand, may not be necessary, if nobody explains to him, that 'Signing Statements' do not constitute Constitutional Law.
