This is nothing more than an attempt on Bush's part to make his choice as Goss's successor, Gen. Hayden, more palatable. And I wish I could say that it wouldn't work, but this Congress has proven it will give Bush whatever he wants, regardless of his poll numbers.
With all this infighting , is it any wonder that the agency seems to failed so oftem in what it is supposed to be , intelligent.
I'm just hopelessly cynical now, but I imagine Kappes gets his job back as a bribe to prevent him from spilling what he knows about Foggo.
