Meet The New CIA Director, Minnie Pearl.

Dusty Foggo? Porter Goss?

Is there anybody at the CIA these days who doesn't sound like they come from the Grand Ol' Opry?

A serious comment from Europe.

Sirs.

The movement in the administration youre seeing now is quite simply preemptive defense, in order to put space between proved corrupt officials and their mentors. Its the little fishes swimming in the republican backwater, in one of the most insanely corrupt political systems of the "western world". The whole Abramoff scandal is the the result of *one* minor operative in the mechanics of greasebarrel politics, I mean cheating Indians out of a few millions fer crying out loud. It is hardly even small change in the large scheme of things, par example Iraq. Imagine how many other operators like Abramoff works on the same principles on a much larger scale. The US actually needs a revolution of some sort, unless you want to do a Roman Empire re-run with nukes added into the screenplay. (Please visualize Bush fiddling while the Towers burn...)

To be serious, the whole underlying problem of the current administration are basically the same problems that face the whole monetary global system. Little egoistic shits looting the people, dealing in the shady world of "grey money". from a Norwegian point of view, we do not understand why in sods name the religious right are able to act like they do in the name of Jesus, and what lacking level of skill that lies in the Bush-junta. They are quite simply greedy corrupt bad statesmen, as they proved before in the Iran-gate scandal. The mere idea of Negroponte in charge of the securitysystem of the US is insane. The guy ran deathsquads. Hoho.
