Unless the press starts making the administration pay a price for their evasion and dishonesty they get the briefings they deserve.
It's now possible to directly record audio and video of events as they happen. It's possible to store those recordings and watch them again. And anybody can do that -- Republicans, too!
Here's another one for you, Scott: not everybody wondering exactly what mission was accomplished in Iraq, whether 3 years ago or today, is a Democrat.
Reporter: Has the mission been accomplished?
McClellan: We are on the way to accomplishing the mission and achieving victory.
Thanks, Scott! I'll take that as a "No."
Good grief, hasn't he left yet?
I wonder how he will word his resume for his job search. Perhaps he can just be honest and say he is a terrible liar. That should be confusing enough.
Mom and Dad: Scotty, you told us you cleaned your room, put the dirty clothes in the laundry and finished your term paper for school. You said it was all done. That was three months ago. Now we see your room is still filthy, there's dirty underwear hanging from the lampshade and you haven't even started your term paper and it was due last Monday!
Scotty: It's not fair. You're always on my back! I'm on the way to accomplishing the mission and achieving victory here. You should be encouraging me. Your criticism is soooo like bummin' me out man.
THIS ADMINISTRATION IS MADE UP OF LIARS SO WHY SHOULD WE EXPECT THE PRESS SECRETARY TO BE DIFFERENT--LOOK WHO APPOINTED HIM.
is McClellan still talking to us? Isn't his gig as the next Orkin Man due to start soon?
A dog cant get rid of his bark. So why would anybody believe that McClellan stops lying. Except by now his performance should be listed as McClowns grunts.
