It's Perfect!

Personally, I think a circus to support the troops is a perfect metaphor, considering the the circus this administation has made of Iraq and Afghanistan. Think about it: You've got the elephant (GOP symbol) and a bunch of clowns (Rumsfeld, Cheney, et al) and a make-believe ring master (Bush). It's perfect!

The many different hats the military is being asked to wear...

I think top hats should be made standard-issue for all officers. The non-coms can be topped by the bowlers clowns so often use. And the enlisted men and women can wear those gay sparkly headbands the trapeeze artists wear.

It'll be the greatest show on earth!
