    NnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!

    It doesn't surprise me at all that there are people of faith who condone what's happened in Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo (and the truth be damned!).

    Having had many a (one-sided!) conversation of late with fundamentalist Christians, I've found that in most, their belief is flexible. The harsher Christ mentality of the Book of Mark vs. the gentler, more compassionate one of the Books of Matthew and John.

    It's all there in that damned book.
