  • why would she stop exactly?

hey, they've got electronic voting machines down in florida now. meaning? republicans no longer have to worry about "polls" or "numbers." i'm not looking forward to her "stunning surprise upset."

  • Yay!

For a while there I was worried that the Republicans would run someone rational for that Senate seat.

  • Katherine the Harpy and Florida Voters

Don't count out Harris by any means yet. Despite her (alleged) illegal "fund raising", the incredibly stupid and disconnected votes of Florida may well vote her in. She knows well what fog headed dunces inhabit her district and the entire state. After all, look who is the governor. "Liberal" and "progressive" bloggers seem to conclude that mere crime and malfeasance will deter voters from seating a criminal or party hack in the U S Senate. But the House and Senate are full of them, thanks to the American voter, so often glorified by the media as somehow infallible. The truth is that there are far too many stupid fools among the voting public who may well send a Harris to Washington again as they did the first time. Note that Tom DeLay won his primary handily. If we have a Nazi Party running the country, it's because sufficient numbers of voters want one.
