How low can he go?

That CBS poll wasn't a fluke.

Deja vu

I remember the last time he was tanking this bad. If he starts reading children's stories in a classroom somewhere, watch out...

Will it be worth it?

64 percent of Americans disapprove of the way Bush is handling Iraq?

55 percent believe the war was a mistake?

52 percent says that the United States either can't or won't win the war in Iraq?

59 percent say that Bush can't manage the government effectively?

52 percent say he isn't "honest and trustworthy"?

58 percent say he isn't paying enough attention to what his administration is doing?

Really?

In that case, it's time for me to say:

I TOLD YOU SO.

I told you so, you stupid, stupid Bush voters. And now you've hopelessly screwed not only yourselves and your children, but MY son too.

Not to mention my country, and quite possibly the human race.

The only solace I have left is the miserable pleasure of saying "I told you so". I predicted the whole goddamned disaster with astonishing accuracy. Here I'll prove it:

Letter to My Future Self, 10/19/2001 - http://www.democraticunderground.com/articles/01/10/19_letter.html

You know what? The satisfaction of saying "I told you so" isn't worth it.

You still owe me, Bush voters. Big time.

Americans and the polls

It is a real pity the the American people took soooooo long to come to the conclusions shown in the today's polls. Had they opened their eyes a wee bit earlier, say before last election day, we would have a different President.
