Wiretapping

I think the problem deep down that people who oppose wiretapping without a warrant (or even with it) have is the way the Bush administration has been conducting themselves when they think they find someone with terrorist connections -- they just drag them off to another country and torture them. People realize that that could happen to anyone for some bogus reason. In that context, letting this untrusted government intrude into our private conversations is a very bad thing.
