Katharine Armstrong told CNN that Saturday evening, after the Dick Cheney shot a 78-year-old man in the face, “the vice president fixed himself a cocktail back at the house."

What’s up with that?

Could it be that Dick Cheney had been drinking during the day and wanted an excuse for measurable levels of ethanol the next day, should the sheriff decide to test his blood.

Has anybody considered the possibility that the wine drinking Willeford was the shooter? Cheney is pretty experienced. The first call to the White House did not say who did it. Maybe Dick said “I’ll take the rap for you dear - Nobody will mess with me, or test my blood– I’m Veep.”

George Carlin used to say, "Remember, don't drink and drive,...do all your drinking,...then go driving!"

...They were drinking in the SUVs.

Wish someone with credentials would follow up on this one to see if substantiated. Talk about a story with legs .... ! Very surprised this isn't showing up on blogs anywhere I could find, but perhaps it's not true. Or worse, it is.
