  I'm depressed, depressed, depressed...

  Is anyone else feeling as absolutely depressed as I am? I can't believe that we are living under the control of what is, for all practical purposes, a fascist junta. And the Democratic party does NOTHING. NOTHING. They can't get a message together, they can't counteract anything...the Bush administration runs roughshod over Americans, and people all over the world, and we all sit here like a bunch of fools, while nothing changes.

  If Al Gore had shot someone under the Clinton administration, the Republicans would have had Congressional hearings scheduled the next day, not to mention the special prosecutors. What do the Democrats do now, when our VP gets trigger happy? Nothing.

  If Abramoff had been fattening the coffers of legions of Democrats? It would have been a constant sickening refrain on all the news, all the time, for months and months, and there would have had Congressional hearings, special prosecutors or even impeachment. And today, the Democrats sit around scratching their heads.

  If Clinton did the illegal wiretapping? Congressional hearings, special prosecutors and impeachment. And today, the Democrats try to figure out how to make something stick, and fail, as usual.

  Clinton went to wear telling us that Saddam had WMD? Congressional hearings, special prosecutors and impeachment. Democrats? They wifflewaffle, a la Hillary, and get NOWHERE.

  Clinton couldn't find Osama Bin Laden after 5 years and billions of dollars spent? Congressional hearings, special prosecutors and impeachment.

  I have been a Democrat forever, but you know what? I want to be in another party. Something different, something new, something that actually DOES SOMETHING!!!!!

  I wish we could turn in the hand and get fresh cards when it comes to being Democrats. Because Howard Dean is useless. Hillary is a nightmare. And no one is speaking for ME!! None of these chuckleheads is outraged and actually does anything about it.

  WHY AREN'T THE DEMOCRATS DOING ANYTHING?

  WHY CAN OUR VICE PRESIDENT SHOOT ANOTHER MAN, AND EXCEPT FOR LATE NITE JOKES AND MEDIA INTERROGATION, FACE NO POLITICAL CONSEQUENCES?

  WHY CAN OUR PRESIDENT STEAL A FIRST ELECTION, AND THEN HAVE HIS ARTHITECT ENGINEER THE SECOND, AND NO ONE DOES ANYTHING???

  I'M SICK, SICK, SICK OF LIVING under the junta, and yet I'm also SICK, SICK, SICK that the Democrats don't seem to be able to organize a bake sale, much less mount an opposition to this insidious administration.

  Is anyone else as sick as I am of it all??
