    Electoral Math 101

    There is only on realistic posibility to prevent the further slide of the Court toward the right. The Democratic party must elect a President. And to do that, they are going to have to run somebody who is 1) a competent campaigner, and 2) someone not from the left wing of the party. John Edwards comes to mind.

    As much as I would like to see Hillary Clinton become President, I just don't see that happening. It would be a repeat of the John Kerry race with the extreme right more motivated. Yes, some Democrats would be more motivated, but some would be less motivated. We must figure out some way to elect a President if we're to have any chance of sucess.
