Conspiracy theories, anyone?
Am I the only one who thought Harriett Miers was being installed on the Supreme Court to protect Bush and his machine from consequences as they do an end run around the constitution in pursuit of this insane imperial presidency?
Alito may at least have qualifications for the job, but he is Bush's man. It's fair to liken it to letting an accused felon choose his brother-in-law as his presiding judge.It will be a lifetime free pass for these frightening men.
