Liberman is an embarrassment to the Democrat's.He has kissed Bush's rearend for 5 years, as for Joe going Republican let him go he is no good to the Democrat's. To think that traitor to the Democratic party ran for vice president makes me want to throwup

Lieberman as Secretary of Defense would accomplish 2 things:

1. It would get him out of the Senate, and let a real Democrat likely become the next Senator from Connecticut.

2. Someone with a possible shred of competency would be Secretary of Defense.

Well, that caps it for me on Lieberman. I used to hold out that he was just having moments... kind of like when my old dog would run his head into the door jam. It's fully apparent he (Joe, not my dog) needs to be put out to pasture before he can inflict any more damage to the Dems.

I used to hold the same hope for Powell... and then Guilliani went 'round the bend too... or maybe it's just the spotlight that brings out these guys true colors.

So sad.

...instead of anyone -- anyone at all -- who could be counted on for some reality contact, some rationality, some REAL support for the men and women serving in Iraq, and just a bit of concern for the blood and treasure being squandered on what he himself once called the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Maybe the Republicans were right all along. Maybe Kerry really IS a spineless flip-flopper.

Can someone please explain to me why we must suffer this paucity of Democratic leaders with just one ounce of integrity?

Mr. Lieberman is no Democrat. He is no Mensch. He's a full grown toadying idiot, who may be "running for Secy. of Defense," I personally, would like to see him run for dog catcher. I assure him, I wouldn't vote for him, even for that job. I like dogs too much!
