Is the White House taking "Christ" out of Christmas?
The letters thread is now closed.
  • Well, the bas**** is taking everything else....

Just look at what else the man has done for, - or rather, to, - the country.

He's taken the 'security' out of 'National Security',...

... the 'freedom' out of 'personal freedoms',...

... the 'emergency' out of FEMA,...

... the 'rights' from 'equal rights',...

... and 'choice' from 'the right to choose'.

So, I believe that the man IS audacious enough to try to take 'Christ' form 'Christmas'. He believes what he wants and no 2000+ year old story is going to sway him.

He has his own myths to sell...

  • The White House HAS to take Christ out of Christmas!

The message of Christ is one that the White House tries daily to destroy, for good reason:

Christ, who said "resist not evil," "love your enemies," and "do good to them that hate you," is, by Conservative standards, a supporter of terrorists.

Christ's message that His followers should pray in secret (Matthew 6:6), give cash to poor people (Mark 10:21), and loan money without charging interest (Luke 6:35) is strongly anti-Conservative.

Add John 13:34-35 at a time when we are "staying the course" and the White House HAS to take Christ out of Christmas!

By their Conservative standards, Christ's message ruined even His own disciples. (Read Acts 2:44-45 and Acts 4:34-35 and you will see that they turned into socialists!)

  • O'Liely and the Holiday hullabaloo

If you follow the link from the story, the one that is for O-Liely's "naughty list" of stores, you will indeed find a list of national stores and their "holiday greeting" strategy. However......

If you scroll down on that page you will also find the following:

    "Bill's Winter Reading List

Here's a list of great books for the WINTER HOLIDAY season. "

Emphasis added. Guess the O'Leily staff are anti-Christmas?
