Better than Fitzmas

After "Fitzmas" proved to be something of a letdown, to see the Dems starting to show signs of a backbone is the best present progressives could ask for!

Kudos to Harry!

I wrote Senator Reid an email yesterday telling him he made me proud once again to be a big D Democrat. I hope he will keep standing up to these neocon fascist Repubs like he did yesterday. I also hope the Democratic Senators will filibuster Scalito when the time comes and let the chips fall where they may. We can then go proudly into the 2006 elections and let the American people decide who has their best interests at heart -- the lying, deceiving, corrupt, crony-promoting Repubs or the Dems who will end this unjust war and bring our troops home. Bravo to Senator Reid -- you're my hero today!

"Stay the Course" and remember Nurenburg- "to the victor goes the..." judgement

Dubbya or Georgre W (War Monger?)Bush.

What has happened to our freedom of speech when the News Media refuses to be unbiased?

What has happened to my country, when the Department of Defense has become once again overseen by political appointees; just like when 'ear necklaces' were shown for "confirmed kills"?

What has happened to my young children, that they were introduced to Oral Sex by Ken Starr.Where did this pornography begin by(the Special Prosecutor) by makinng sex more incriminating than theft, lies and murder?

When will any of this end, and TRUTH begin?

When will someone CLEAN UP OUR WHITE HOUSE?

Please, "God, Bless America", because as Your Son would say--"they know not what they do".

Honoring Rosa Park by Restoring Our Moral and Ethical Standards

It is encouraging to see Senator Reid stand up for all of us who feel our country's moral and ethical standards have been hijacked by people who do not share American values such as honesty, charity towards others, and the belief that our democracy is strenghthened when opinions and dissent are discussed in an open, public forum.

On the day of Mrs. Rosa Park's burial, let us all honor this American hero by beginning our "Rosa Park Moments" and restore the dignity and honor to our beloved country which has been taken from us by the current Bush Administration.

I suggest a good place to start is to review a speech given by Vice President Gore on Oct 5, 2005 entitled "Gore on the Threat to American Democracy"
