    Alito' s nomination

In the long-run, it is best if the Democrats do not fight Alito's nomination, and concentrate instead on the corruption, lies, lack of ethics, and abuses of power, both in the Administration and Congress.

If the Democrats focus on Alito, they will again play into the hands of the Administration and Congress. The latter want the focus off Libby's indictement, and its wider implications for Rove, Cheney, and Bush.

Don't let them win. Be relentless. The country needs accountability, and it is high time that the thugs running the country get their come-uppance.
