Shoes

Thanks, I needed a good laugh.

About Right...

Thanks for a moment of levity in an increasingly bizarre scenario! Made my lunchtime.

Johnnie Cochran would be proud

All the shinola in D.C. won't be able to cover up when the sh%^t hits the fan.

Thanks for the chuckle during this nail-biting waiting period. I feel like the stereotypical expectant father of yesteryear pacing in the waiting room.

Shouldn't that be ...

"If the shoes look bright, you must indict"?

Hey, Scooter, Hey, Karl

Time for you boys to start practicing your perp walks.

what?

This post is the kind of thing that I would expect from a local news broadcast. Is there not enough real news happening? What did Fitzgerald have for lunch? Did he take a walk in the park? Did he sneaze? If so, did he use a tissue or wipe it on his sleave? Let's just be patient and wait for tomorrow.

Shoe shine?

Seriously, you're wasting precious time and space reading into the fact that Fitzie got his shoes shined? I know we all want to open our papers on Fitzmas morning and find that Turd Blossom has been frog-marched out of the White House and Scooter is scooting his way to a jail cell, but really, a visit to the shoe shine guy? This is your breaking news? Lawyers get their shoes shined in DC as a sort of coffee break. Let's not lose our heads, people....

Fitzgerald Shoeshine

Thanks Tim.

Following up

Thanks for all the kind words.

And for those of you who think I'm reading too much into a shoe shine -- it was a joke, folks. I was trying to poke some fun at the obsessive way many of us are watching for clues, hints, tea leaves, smoke signals, etc.

On second thought, if I were a prosecutor planning to announce some indictments during a nationally televised press conference, I'd sure want my shoes to look their best.

Kidding . . .

Funny article

Thanks for the shoeshine joke. Too bad about those who didn't get it. Sometimes irony is lost on the clueless.

Whatever gets you through the night-- until Fitzgerald indicts

When the pace at my workplace is at its most hectic, that's when my coworkers and I write wacky song parodies, create gag birthday cards, anything to get us through and keep us sane. Tim, I totally get what you're doing.

Shoes

Well, he's been wading in shit ... what do you expect?
