Goodbye, gentle artist. It's obvious you loved and were loved.
My condolences.
My condolences to the Watts family.
from a long time reader/subscriber. Appreciation to this gentleman who contributed to Salon's great look.
has been Mr. Watts' clear, clean art direction. I've been reading for at least 9 years.
I'm fairly fussy about the look and feel of things and I will leave a website or blog if it's too busy, unnecessarily complicated or hard on the eyes.
I hope the look of Salon doesn't change too much with his passing.
Condolences to the family and Salon family.
I didn't know him, but I appreciate him nonetheless as I've been turning to Salon for just about as long as he was working there. Thank you for honoring him and your readers by letting us know about his death and what he meant to you personally.
I've always loved the look of Salon, especially the wonderful caricatures of everyone. And every time Salon would update its look, it was always an improvement, not something you could say about every other journal, online or not.
I wondered who was responsible for such great work, and only wish I had found out some other way.
A wish for the Watts family... that good and happy memories will sustain them.
My sincere condolences. What a beautiful picture, thank you for sharing it.

To the Watts family, and to Bob's family at Salon.
