He apologized, enough with the Al Sharpton lead, African-American lynch mob. How does a stupid mistake lead to the end of a forty year career. Joan Walsh is just too goody-goody, we need an Imus type to take her down a notch.

Could you please please please considering adopting an "ignore user" function? I am tired to death of the mysoginistic trolls who prowl the Broadsheet forums. If you refuse to mod the letters, could you please allow those of us who don't want to read long, rambling defenses of pedophiles, wife-beaters and rapists to hide letters written from these morons?
