While many hypocrites are aware of their hypocrisy, which causes cognitive dissonance and rationalizing, too-dumb-to-realize-they're-hypocrite hypocrites are unencumbered by such brain discomfort. I can't think of one word to label Palin's brand of hypocrisy; will guilt-free hypocrite do?

For the last 40 years, I have watched one democrat tv ad after another that was one lie after another. In most democrat tv ads run in 2008 the exact opposite of what was said was the truth.

The reason Republicans are lousy politicians is that they don't know how to lie like democrats. If there were a level playing field, all politicians had to tell the truth and the media had to report accurately, there would be no liberals politicians elected anywhere.

Now Joan, I don't think you lie all the time, sometimes you just twist the facts to make it look like you are telling the truth. You are very good at omitting important facts and also lifting things out of context. In other words, you are a typical liberal journalist. You cover a story with 19 good points and one bad point and you report only the one bad point that makes the individual you are reporting on look bad, which is what you planned to do before you ever covered the event.

You had dozens of stories you wrote about Sarah Palin a year ago; you are just waiting for the right time to plug in all of them into Salon as the right opportunity comes along. What ever you have left over, you will tweak slightly to use on Meg Whitman.

Almost every righty I read on the Net makes huge, unfounded, unsourced assertions, never backs them up, and never goes from those broad brushes to any particulars.

Why not be one of the first on your side of the aisle to actually support your contentions?

My observation of the left is that lefties typically get specific, detailed, cite actual data, facts, and evidence. We get into the nitty gritty of particular issues with specific citations. We actually LIKE doing that. We actually LIKE policy, for instance. Discussing it. Breaking it down.
