Why is Palin lying about state ethics probes?

She says Alaska spent "millions" probing "frivolous" issues. The cost was far less and some complaints were serious

Joan!

...just let it go.

Thursday, July 9, 2009 06:59 AM

Hate corrodes the vessel which hold it.

Check your insides Joan, if there is anything left in there.

Why do you obsess over and hate this woman so much?

Admit it. You are hot for her and it disturbs you. I bet you watched that porno fim mocking her and got the wrong idea. Why don't you fly up to Alaska and interview her, catch some fish, get mosquito bit and make a pass at her. Maybe that will take your edge off,

Are you going to spend the rest of your life and career obsessing over a former beauty queen and governor of Alaska?

Well, I guess that can turn some people on a lot, huh? Sarah sure gets YOUR JUICES flowing

Have you ever heard of Cynthia McKinney?

I don't suppose SHE would get YOUR JUICES flowing.

McKinney is too black, eh?

Palin is too white, eh?

Obama is JUST RIGHT, eh?

Must be easy to be you.

Real simple.

LOVE HATE LOVE HATE LOVE HATE - spin it around Joan, get worked up, get your JUICES FLOWING and ignore the irony of Michelle Obama wearing a peace sign shirt while her husband is blowing people up.

When was the last time you were a human being?

Hate corrodes the human being and leaves nothing good in its place.

Where are you Joan? What happened to you. Did you catch it from O'Reilly?

Did he catch it from you?

"NO THECLA WOMAN"

Joan we know "WHY"because she's a Liar period.Your so right and Mrs.Palin will try to Lie her way into the Whitehouse. Its very "SCARY" to think this woman could be president at all.But what we went thru the 8 last years with Bush and Cheney would be a repeat with Sarah. The Neo-Con/Freemason esatblishment would put a Cheney type with Sarah and Run the Whitehouse. Can we afford to go thru another dictatorship the first in american history. This whole thing smell's like the old guard part of the Fake christian conservative's like Pat Buchanan behind the scene's acting like they did'nt know what happen is full of shit.Just to imagine she would be president would make fill unsafe for me and my children.I would consider even moving out of america. It concerns me that the MCcain campaign and Neo- Cons would've put her that close to the presidency without thinking she is'nt ready to even be governer. That they would put our country at risk for there selfish ambitions to win.It make's me sick that these powermongers in the right -wing extremist jihadist would put a phony candidate up for election to gain power .I am "REALLY" concerned what's going on in the republican party that they would put some quitter up to possibly run for president are they that desperate its very sad that they would stoop to that level and put us american people at "RISK" .Something is very wrong in america when the right will put us in danger that way.Did'nt they cry over president Obama saying he was'nt ready.SHAME on them there the one's who are putting someone up who defiantely is'nt ready.SAD SAD SAD Joan keep up the GOOD work your on hardball expose the lie your talking about.PLEASE

"2. Yes, Harry was well read. Sarah Palin says she is a voracious reader. Before you laugh, I would ask: okay, let's see the book list. She has three years before the voting starts in Iowa. At some point, a voter can ask her about this, and let's all wait for the answer."

Are you really going to go there?

Couric: And when it comes to establishing your worldview, I was curious, what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read before you were tapped for this to stay informed and to understand the world?

Palin: I’ve read most of them, again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media.

Couric: What, specifically?

Palin: Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me all these years.

Couric: Can you name a few?

Palin: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news, too. Alaska isn’t a foreign country, where it’s kind of suggested, “Wow, how could you keep in touch with what the rest of Washington, D.C., may be thinking when you live up there in Alaska?” Believe me, Alaska is like a microcosm of America.

LOL

@underanothername

"So the complaints didn't cost Alaska "millions," they weren't filed by outside Democratic operatives, and most of them weren't frivolous. Is Sarah Palin going to keep telling these lies on her self-pity tour?" - joan walsh

and

"She's Lying" - current headline to this bs story from joan

Two Points;

1. It has now been demonstrated that the investigations did indeed cost 1.9 million (ethics investigations alone). Add the cost to respond to the 150 FOIA requests, and the number gets bigger.

2. joan lies when she call Palin a liar. Maybe, early on joan was simply in error. Since joan refuses to correct her mistake now that the facts are available, joan has become the liar.

Palin haters have fallen right into her trap.

Palin has been investigated, repeatedly, and cleared.

Leaping onto the "millions" figure (the basis for Palin's supposed "lie") and rushing out with another hit piece has left them vulnerable, looking like the idiots they are, when time passes and the facts come out.

It's the hate that they cannot get over.

Good on ya Joanie!

Investigative Journalism! and a clearly expressed editorial opinion! yay!

Thanks for this piece and here's hoping the corporate/mainstream media picks up this important story.

My dear matthewbenzor,

So the next 8 years are NOT going to be a repeat of the past 8 years?

I was not aware that Nader, Barr or McKinney was in the White House.

Pay attention to Sarah and pay no attention to Obama and pretend that he is not Bush III.

Thursday, July 9, 2009 07:08 AM

I think Andrew Jackson did some bad things

Let's harp on him for a month.

tailwind

"As I have continued to say time and time again the conservative mindset continues to completely baffle me! We have a woman here who has proven not to be remotely competent but the adoration from the religious nuts continues. I am certain given a chance they would put her in the office of President and be happy with her ignorance."

They love her cause she's anti-gay and anti-abortion and anti-intellekshul and wishes to issue a new US Constitution, King James version.

Nothing else matters to the wingnuts.
