Palin's announcement today gives the country a taste of what a Palin presidency would be like: She would quit when the going got tough. A more truthful explanation of her erratic behavior is that she probably inked a deal with Fox News to become a "political anaylist"- another position she is unqualified for.

The recent revelation about Palin signing one of her e-mails as from god, proves that she is bat-shit crazy and, in addition to everything else, has made her thoroughly unelectable.

but she has probably received pressure by clandestine sources to resign for undisclosed reasons that will probably be disclosed soon enough (I'm guessing that she got caught cheating).

To the best of my recollection no American politician has ever returned to public office after having resigned from their elected office.

How can the GOP stand with her as a viable POTUS when she can't take the heat of media pressure or the failures of her governorship as Alaska? She leaves the state of Alaska with a potential state budget deficit, dropping oil production, rising energy prices and the reality that half of the population of her state live in what are basically third-world conditions. No wonder the Lt. Gov. looked shocked! She just handed him a hot potato, not the slam dunk, while she hits the dressing room, whining about how mean the opposing team has been to her.

It's obvious she couldn't stand the heat; it's time she left the kitchen. I can hear her muttering to herself now, "They won't have this point guard/pit bull to kick around anymore."

Sarah Palin now has nothing to run on. She's officially shredded her record by quitting the moment the job got tough.
