But here the 'victim' is _voluntarily_ taking clearly labeled poison which kills over the course of several decades. And there are balancing effects such as increasing your coolness.

what does voluntarily ingesting the product have to do with anything. heroin is illegal -- tobacco is legal. which is worse? there are studies which indicate that tobacco addiction is harder to break than heroin. anyway, inhaling secondhand smoke is not voluntary. thus it's legalized corporate murder.

Unfortunately, it seems Feinstein and Schumer decided on the basis of ethnicity/religion to support Mukasey a fellow Jew. This is not an anti-Semitic opinion. There can be no other logical, rational reason for their support.

Like Rahm Emanuel and now Van Hollen with the DCCC, Schumer uses the DSCC purse not for the good of the country , but rather as a fear-mongering tool to push through the mandates of NOT the country and NOT the party, but of it's war chest contributors.

Schumer bragged about flip flopping against Feingold to push through the Patriot Act11, and he used the same tactics with that monstrous Bankrupcy Act of 2005, he's done it with FISA and a host of other undemocratic actions.

Hoyer and Emanuel have done the same with the DCCC purse to push Iran, Iraq and oil related undemocratic activities in the House.

It's all about the furtherance of a special interest and insider led agenda.
