Thanks Joan for your sanity. It makes me so mad when Joe won't let you complete a thought. He always raises the volume before he hears you out. It reminds me of a kid putting his fingers in his ears when you say something he does not want to hear. What bothers me about so much of the discussion on this topic is white guys taking great offense at something Sharpton or Jesse Jackson has said way in the past, they refuse to stay on the topic at hand. They sound like spoiled babies who can't admit that just by being born white males they have advantages over everyone else on earth. The other thing is the slipperiness of all the pundits who have been part of the "club" they know that they have condoned all the ugly behavior on Imus's show by their eager appearences there and I don't see evidence that any of them are reflecting on that. They just want to defend their buddy.I have lost respect for several who I rather liked before.
