I think the use of chemical weapons against the kurds is frankly a good reason to show that Iraq had chemical weapons.
Why didn't we attack Saudi Arabia instead of Iraq? I think for lots of very valid reasons. But, does citizenship of a country imply that a citizens actions represent those of that country's government/leaders? I don't think the men who drove those planes were acting at the direction of the leaders of Saudi Arabia.
Iraq didn't attack us on 9/11. Very true. We were attacked by a group of people, not a country.
Again, I think, given the circumstances, the decision to invade Iraq and remove Saddam from power and allow that country an opportunity to move in a new direction was the right thing to do.
