I'm grateful for Barack Obama

My sappy Thanksgiving post got more serious as I watched the Mumbai tragedy unfold.

re: Shame You Can Believe In

Tell us where Obama should mine the talent to run the country if not from the Clinton White House - that most of us look back upon fondly - and the Washington Democrats. Anyone who voted for Obama expecting anything else but a pragmatic centrist just wasn't listening to the man - he was very hawkish - promising to unleash our forces if he detected a threat, promising to fight al qaeda, promising to hunt down bin Laden, promising to ramp up the troops in Afghanistan, promising fealty to isreal - did YOU not listen - or did YOU hear what YOU wanted to hear? I appreciate Joan's words and agree for the msot part...particularly on Gates - did YOU want CHAOS in the middle east JUST as Obama was taking office? Gates can ALWAYS be replaced, but has earned accolades

    from BOTH sides...

Be patient and trust the man you voted for. But most of all - GROW UP!
