Buchanan: The Kos crowd deserves a Cabinet pick

Why does a conservative seem to respect the Democratic left more than many Democrats? Plus: Pick Hillary, or don't, but get it over with!

    Obama for Secretary of State...

Someone somewhere (nytimes? sorry) made the very interesting point that the person who carries the most weight with, and actually excites, foreign leaders is Obama himself, and that he might do well to capitalize on this by being his own Secretary of State, so to speak, at least initially.

Failing that, I believe the best person for the job, hands down, is Bill Clinton. (Just to be clear, I supported Obama, not Hillary.) As president, he came tantalizingly close to succeeding in the Middle East, was helpful in areas such as Ireland, etc. His ties to many foreign leaders have deepened since he left office. What an advantage to Obama and to the country...

    (Am I crazy?)
