Buchanan: The Kos crowd deserves a Cabinet pick

Why does a conservative seem to respect the Democratic left more than many Democrats? Plus: Pick Hillary, or don't, but get it over with!

    @frances8

    Hey, you ease up on my boo Michelle! Seriously, I agreed with Michelle's initial point, that the Clintons bring sooo much drama with them, but I dont think she had a good response to Joan's (and Chris') point that we've been praising Obama for his judgement up to now, if he thinks Hillary would be a good choice, then we should respect that instead of wigging out. I would not say Michelle looked "ridiculous", though if you read far enough into this thread, you will be able to see I'm biased towards Michelle :), but Joan had a concise and convincing argument that Matthews not only concurred with at that point, but reiterated at the end of "Hardball".

    I think Michelle, like a lot of people, let her personal inclination to distrust the Clintons cloud her view of the matter. I wasnt a big fan of Hillary's campaign tactics, but I do think she'd be a great choice for State. My one reservation is that, based on her campaign and the mess she made of health care back in the 90s, I am not convinced Hillary is a strong manager of people. I'm not sure how State will fare from an administrative standpoint. Who knows, though, she may not even take the job.
