If Hill can give me a written assurance that she won't go all Joan of Ark in the Mid-East, and take her turn Tehran into toast talk off the table, and actually talk before toasting, I might be of a mind to accept her appointment to Sec of State.
As it is, her husband screwed up the most golden of oppurtunities to put old acrimonies aside, when he snubbed Mohammed Khatami's direct overatures to diplomacy back around '96-'98.
I don't think Hill especially qualifies for the post. I'd personally prefer somebody who's done a lot of shuttle back and forth to world capitals..but whatever.
