Sarah Baracuda came out with white fangs blazing. Not only did she blow it...her obviously coached, soundbite ladened speech, demeanor void of any honest, warm compassionate performance brought up visions of The Stepford Wives. I say performance because that is what it was. Everyone keeps referring to who won the debate. Of course Biden did because he actually showed up, answered questions and debated points.
McCain/Palin and her handlers insisted to use the debate and turn it into her campaign stump speech. It is backfiring because it is showing their desperation and her obvious lack of substance and qualifications.
We need to recover from 8 yrs of the Devil Incarnate and not replace him Jezebel
You are freakin' hilarious. Barack Obama's sudden and rapid rise to be the candidate for president?" You've got to be kidding. Sure, all he had to do was campaign for two years, raise money, build a nationwide support system, and, oh yeah, win the nomination over seasoned campaigners like the Clintons. Other than that, yeah. He just popped out of nowhere over night.
Let's see, now. I wonder if there is a candidate who does fit your description of a sudden and rapid rise. Hmmm, how about Sarah "I've only been at this five weeks" Palin?
Oh, and the idea that someone can "Win" the debate by refusing to participate in the debate is idiotic. Was that your idea, or did you cut and paste from some repug talking points memo of the day?
Let me ask you something. Why do you hate America so much?
I watched the entire Debate and when Sarah Palin and Joe Biden stepped out on the stage, her first words to him were "May I call you, Joe". To which he replied "Yes". And, both smiled at each other in a friendly manner. And, throughout the debate both were entirely respectful of each other. Though, occasionally Biden laughed, frowned, grimaced, and even seemed mesmerized and impressed by Palin.
And, Palin was entirely respectful of Biden when he spoke of his own family tragedies.
Palin was eloquent, thoughtful, and covered all her talking points well and thorough. Palin literally carried the Debate hands down. And, non-left wing Polls clearly show
(R)Sarah Palin won the Debate, despite that the Democrats held the Vice Presidential Debate "trump card" advantage by virtue of the Democrats having Obama supporter/Obama author, PBS Commentator Gwen Ifills as the Palin/Biden Debate Moderator. When her questionable affiliations became known to the public just 2 days before the scheduled Palin/Biden Debate,
Ms. Ifills apparently either refused and/or made no attempt to recuse herself from the Palin/Biden debate despite her overt bias. And, even more shocking, the Debate Committee made no attempt to force Ms. Ifills out of the national Vice Presidental Debate. How many Obama supporters are members of the National Debate Committee is not known but should be made known.
It is scandalous and outrageous that PBS Commentator Gwen Ifills moderated the Palin/Biden Debate since Ms. Ifills is not only a biased left wing Obama supporter but Ms. Ifills has also authored a book about the African American freshmen (D) Sen. Barack Obama's sudden and rapid rise to be the (D) candidate for President. And, the Gwen Ifills' book titled "Break Through" is scheduled for release on the day of Obama's "expected" Presidential inauguration.
And, so, clearly, Ms. Ifills has a "financial vested interest in the outcome of the Palin/Biden Debate, and McCain/Obama Debates and of course has a financial vested interest in the outcome of the Presidential election". And, "if Obama wins, PBS Commentator/Palin/Biden Debate Commentator stands to financially profit to as much as $350,000 or more. And, of course, if Obama loses the election then PBS Commentator/Debate Moderator Gwen Ifills stands to earn considerably less in book revenues". While this matter is shocking and scandalous, it also smacks of a criminal offense.
All things considered this is very "distasteful", sordid, questionable business that Ms. Ifills and other Democrats have involved themselves in and suggesting overt efforts to "fix" itical "fix" a national political debate and national election. And, this questionable matter relating to Ms. Ifills, coupled with unresolved questions relating to Obama's questionable associations, ties, allegiances, relationships and financial matters, as well as allegations that Obama has his supporters out in the streets of Ohio and elsewhere signing up people in the streets and getting these people, whether these street people are qualified to vote or not, to fill in absentee voting slips should be all be timely investigated NOW. It is not known what representations or promises are being made to these potential Obama voting people in order to get them to sign up but it seems federal law enforcement intervention and investigations should begin to find out in a timely fashion, before the Presidential election just weeks away.
I have never seen a national political election where left wing liberal TV, cable, and print media are so involved in influencing the outcome of an election and resulting in election facts being skewered and the public being deceived. This is an example when one political party has an unlimited source of funds, too much money to throw around to get votes, while the other party has a very limited source of funds.
And, the party with all the funds in essence "buys" the election despite that their candidate may not be qualified or suitable to be elected to serve, as is Chicago freshmen (D) Sen. Barack "Barry" Obama. Is this what we, the tax payiing U.S. citizens of this country deserve?
We, the people of the U.S., no matter our political affiliation have the constitutional right to a fair and clean election. But, that is not what is happening in this 2008 Presidential election. I believe the matter has deteriorated to the point where federal law enforcement intervention and investigation should ensue - now - prior to the election.
God Bless America! God Bless our Troops!
Update: I've found the link to her Fox News interview, where she 'recuses' herself from her poor interview performances.

Appearing on a friendlier news outlet, Gov. Sarah Palin said she was "annoyed" with the way Katie Couric handled their interview and complained that the CBS Evening News host failed to give her the opportunity to take a proverbial axe to Barack Obama."The Sarah Palin in those interviews was a little bit annoyed," "she said. ""It's like, man, no matter what you say, you are going to get clobbered. If you choose to answer a question, you are going to get clobbered on the answer. If you choose to try to pivot and go to another subject that you believe that Americans want to hear about, you get clobbered for that too."/"
