A pit bull in lipstick?

A snarling Sarah Palin savages Barack Obama while her defenders deride sexism and "liberal media" bias.

Texas Aggie

She dominates as a debater in that she can use all the verbal tricks of the trade ...

The 'credit' for that collection of logical fallacies goes to the team who wrote the speech - before she was picked.

... but it's not her fault that she doesn't present more substance.

She hasn't been told what her positions will be yet. She herself has admitted to being clueless. But she's just a right-wing novelty item after all, so that's okay. Nobody expected her to be taken seriously, certainly not her Republican handlers.

The pubs have had their little joke and we've all laughed. So, who's the real nominee?

A pit bull in lipstick?

More like a golden retriever who's been taught to bark on command and not make messes on the floor.

Kind of makes you want to go to the pound for a dog and name it 'Sarah', doesn't it?

How to neutralize Palin

Use a FEW, simple, unassailable FACTS, like three. Make an ad. Buy and air for two days.

Then make another ad using three more item. Buy and air for two days.

Then make another ad using three more item. Buy and air for two days.

Then make a BIG buy and run them all.

NO refuting lies. NO name calling. No sexism.

Simple unassailable FACTS:

AD ONE:

No Fiscal Conservative:

Mayor with $27 mil in TAXPAYER Earmarks, for a town of 6000.

And still left it with $22 mil in debt.

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN!

Tax cuts for the rich:

The Mayor of Wasilla did cut taxes, property taxes for the rich, but raised sales taxes that hit the middle class and the poor, taxes even on food.

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN!

As Governor: Projects with funding reduced by 50 percent include the following:

• Catholic Community Resources — counseling and adoption

• Fairbanks Community Food Bank

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN

Ad Two:

No Fiscal Conservative:

Spent money not on useful public works, but for a sports complex that is underused. Built it on land that did not belong to the city. Left the city in litigation. Irresponsible.

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN!

No Reformer:

Acively lobbied for the Bridge to Nowhere, before she was against it, then took the money anyway. Then said she was against it.

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN!

Promises to cooperate on an abuse of power investigation, but then stonewalls and refuses to testify.

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN!

Ad Three:

“Covenant House Alaska, a program that helps younger people, including teenage mothers. The Alaska legislature decided to allocate $5 million in building funds, but Gov. Sarah Palin cut that to $3.9 million with a line-item veto in June.”

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN!

Big Oil financed her mayoral bid!

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN!

Spent money not on useful public works, but for a sports complex that is underused. Built it on land that did not belong to the city. Left the city in litigation. Irresponsible.

JUST LIKE A BUSH REPUBLICAN!

@ swift_goat_pet_for_truth

And you don't think this gal, who has got the Democrats hair on fire, has answers for all your "points?"

Check out a new thingy....Google. Every charge has been debunked a thousand times over. (that is, if you really want to know the facts)

One question for you......Why do the people who know her best, the citizens of Alaska, shower her with an 85+% approval rating? (Hint: calling them juvenile names isn't the answer)

BTW.....I'm a Democrat, and I don't want McCain/Palin to win. We can still win this thing, unfortunately suicide seems to be the only thing in the Dem's playbook.) The panic and frenzy I'm hearing, and the off-the-wall stupidity being printed is so easy to refute that it only proves one thing....the powers that run the Democratic Party haven't learned a thing from the Gore/Kerry fiascos.
