coming from Obama supporters in here is fairly incredible. I guess they are the party of traditional values. Can't you think of anything else?
We all know that Pit Bulls have serious issues with anger management. Many animal experts urge people, especially with young children, to avoid having them in their homes. In a flash, and without provocation, they are know to violently attack both strangers and the the hands that feed and groom them. That being said, and despite the fact that she once was a show dog, Palin is demonstrating a latent case of rabies. The best thing to do is capture the beast and send her back to the arctic to freeze her Dorian Gray soul to hell.
Ain't nobody that I know would ever even try to kiss a pitbull, except maybe another PB. This is about the most blantant obvious "vote gettin'" VP candidate choice that has ever come down the pike. The GOP vetting process must be desperate to gloss-over the harped-on months-long "Experience Factor" that they have now done a 180 reversal on for their ticket. As my Dad, a combat WWII Navy veteran used to say, "The real heroes are all dead (KIA)." I'd rather kiss "Meaty", BB's English Bulldog with lipstick than a PB. So what is the difference between a Soccer Mom and a Hockey Mom? Soccer Moms know that "IT's About The Economy Stupid!" I got to go now and catch my pet pig and take her to Ultra...
Executive experience? Obama has none.
On the Other Hand, Sarah Palin has managed a city and a State with the same population as Delaware, and 250 times larger, with one of the biggest economies in the nation.
If experience counts, the Republican Nominee for vice President has snowed under the Democratic Nominee for President.
Of course experience doesn't count to people who want a "postracial rock star" who satisfies a "diversity requirement" for their President. Right?
With supreme irony, Adlai Stevenson once said, "In a democracy, the voters always choose the right candidates". Yep, they get who they vote for.
from the press so she won't have to answer directly all the charges which have been found as the result of research. We won't know about taking a punch until she appears in free press conference in forums not jammed with supporters the way McC usually does his town meetings.
Sarah Palin reminds me of business managers I have run into in the past. Their snide attitude shows right away, they belive they know better than anyone else - similar to President Bush, and we know his record.
In addition as an one of the independent voters the Republicans are trying to attract they failed - I am a believer in ABSOLUTE separation of church and state. The selection of the alaska Gov. closed any of that consideration.
Finally, I watched the McCain speech last night and it was all talk. On every issue he claims to have been independent on he backed off when the time to vote came. Where is the support for the vets, what methods of torture were stopped by the bill he initially pushed. ALL TALK NO ACTION.
P.S. someone should ask if the librarian agreed to remove books that the Gov. wanted removed. It bothers me that the Gov. retained the libraian after protests, but said she was then satisfied that the libraian supported the Gov.- did they sensor free speech?
Wow. Such brilliant points. Hey, you know who has even more executive experience than Sarah Palin? George W. Bush! I think you should write him in on your ballot; he's clearly the most qualified.
Hey, also, I'm wondering if you can think of another presidential candidate who has no executive experience. I'll give you a second. Who else, beside Obama, is running for president but has no executive experience? I'll give you a hint: he's not Obama... kinda old now... just accepted the nomination... John McCain! That's right, good for you! John McCain has no executive experience, and by your own clearly reasoned logic you have no business voting for him either.
So what are you going to do this November? There's no one with executive experience to vote for, so logically I think you're just going to have to sit this one out, man. Oh well, there's always 2012.
Whew. I guess Sarah's remarks about styrofoam Greek pillars really hit a raw nerve with Mr. O's followers.
If Salon and other MSM outlets examined Obama with one tenth the scrutiny to which they are holding Palin and her family, the Great O wouldn't be running for any office. In fact, he'd be on the run.
I have never voted Republican in my life, and don't know if I ever will, although I admire Palin's courage and anti-corruption actions. The relentless snideness against her, her family, her daughter--god, I've never seen such low blows. What a bunch of scum-bags these columnists and letter writers are...are they really Salon readers? Or are they among the hundreds of paid Obama bloggers? Salon readers usually have a bit more discriminatory powers, though they incline to the left and indeed yours truly also does, so my money is on it that they are mostly paid Obama bloggers.
Nevertheless:
I have never seen such biased "journalism" in my life. Following frequent commentary, how about this: if Obama haters are racist, then Palin haters are sexist. Sounds like a good game plan to me.
Rumors about the totalitarian MSM media have proven true. The NYT has no place for John Edwards' personal exploits, but it gives front page coverage to the 17 yr old daughter of a candidate for VP. This is so sickening that after this campaign is over, they ought to launch an all-out investigation on MSM bias. I don't mean difference of opinion, I mean gross injustice relating to what the media decides to cover on an individual candidate. Palin's baby being her daughter's? Although the child was born five months ago and the daughter is now several months pregnant? These accusers are guilty of gross ignorance about biology. Or maybe just they're just desperate.
Obama has done nothing but talk, talk, talk and posture, posture, posture. Mostly about his sorry self, which yours truly has long since ceased to find inspirational. I'm sick to death of this fraud.
If Sarah Palin's family is game, then why not given equal time to Larry Sinclair's accusations about Obama's crack smoking and homosexual sex? Hey-if Oba wants the down-low that's his business, bout out with it already. However, crack still remains illegal.
Ask Obama about the murders of gay men, including the choir master, in his Church in 2007? Men with whom he knew personally. You want dirt on one candidate, let's hear for all. These are not idle accusations, they are supported by some pretty stark evidence, but of course you'll never know because Google has carefully scrubbed the information so you have to dig deeper. Still, it's there.
Sarah Palin shrill? Most women are when they have to talk loud to crowds. It's a problem when your voice is naturally high pitched, but what is important is the content. When the teleprompter broke, she was able to wing it. Obama can't find the words unless they fed to him. He only writes about himself, talks about himself. Is anybody really naive or stupid enough to believe he cares about them?
The torrent of abuse being heaped on this person is so absurd and despicable that I really believe MSM--including Salon--has reached a low so low I didn't think it would be possible.
You want the dirt on Palin, let's give equal time to Larry Sinclair's claims about Obama's crack smoking and homo sex in the back of a limosine in Nov. 1999? He has never backed down and has credible evidence, including the name of the driver. Of course you only find that out with research, because the internet has been scrubbed by the Obama campaign. Biden's son tried to get Sinclair by interrupting his June press conference with trumped up charges that a courageous member of the Delaware judicial system finally dismissed a week ago because there was nothing to charge him on. You hear about this anywhere?
Let us hear the "hate whitey" speech of Mrs. Obama. Let us debate whether Obama was born in the USA at all. Phil Berg has entered his summons to the federal court in Pennsylvania.
Apparently soon-to-deliver mothers were not allowed to board airplanes in 1961 and so Obama's mom, trying to leave for Hawaii after visiting in Kenya, was prevented from boarding the plane and gave birth in a maternity hospital there. Obama's grandmother has been quoted as saying she was present.
Slime slinging is a part of the candidacy, but every candidate's slime should be on display. Salon has proven just as craven and hypocritical as any other of the MSM media, all owned as we know by a very few people and their cohorts, all of whom are united in wanting Obama-puppet in the White House. They are old. Very old. So old they've finally miscalculated in spite of all the filthy lucre.
Ok paid-Obama-bergers, I mean bloggers. Others can sling it, but at least we're after the truth.
There's a backlash coming. Your emperor has no crown and no clothes, in more ways than one.
