A pit bull in lipstick?

A snarling Sarah Palin savages Barack Obama while her defenders deride sexism and "liberal media" bias.

President Sarah Palin..?

Let's get away from the minutia for a moment and consider and ponder this fact in regard to this Sarah Palin...

John McCain believes this woman, should be President of The United States..!

I say that again...

John McCain believes "this woman", should be President of The United States...!

Can you imagine any more irresponsible, ill considered, "crack pot" decision..?

Weren't you willing to fight as dirty as the Republicans to get rid of the old Clinton baggage?

Mrs. Clinton isn't 'baggage', pub.

But thanks for admitting that Republicans fight dirty. Got anything else to confess?

By the way. You're evading questions again.

some things never change

"W' fooled the evangelical right twice, so the GOP figures why not try for 3 times! Palin is little more than a tool the "party" found to use (just like the once staunch McCain has also become). Sad to see the country split up over church vs. state and women's right's issues (abortion). Some day when it is too late, we will all see that the only way man kind might have survived and preserved our resources and earth would be to have practiced some sort of birth control. God forbid anyone mention that!

PT Barnum didn;t know it at the time, but he could have been President!

Palin..

I have to be honest...I only watched a few minutes of the Palin Parade and then turned and watched a film..."The Candidate" starring Robert Redford. It was an excellent show and besides Redford is a better actor.

What I DID see... Palin, surrounded by her dysfunctional family, Todd, holding the "special" baby and Bristol and Levi and all the rest reminded me of an episode of the Jerry Springer Show.

I prefer Springer.

Words that begin with "sn"

Poor Joan, your vocabulary is so limited. Sarah Palin didn't just "sneer" and "snarl" last night. She sniped at her critics and said snide, snippy, snotty things about Barack and Michelle that upset their fans so badly that they snapped off their TV sets and sneaked out to get snockered.

look who's crying "sexism" now? republicans????

Aren't these people the same people who refuse to allow equal pay for women? The same people who yelled "iron my shirt" and "who's taking care of your children" at other female politicians (and not that long ago, either). The same party who made it even harder for women to file a charge of gender bias in employment salaries by limiting the amount of time a woman has to find proof of it?

All this, not to even mention the anti-choice, hand over the keys to your uterus, ladies.

I am so insulted by this woman, by Laura Bush's use of the word "sexism" and "elitism." Furthermore, if Obama said anything about the way people cling to their religion and guns, so what? They do. It was no more wrong than pointing out that people cling to their physical autonomy, to their financial security, to their civil rights. So people don't like to have the truth spoken to them? It's time we all got real. It showed Obama knew what he was dealing with, not that he scorned them. Like McCain scorns us women.

What color is the sky in your world?

I've tried appealing to your sense of logic, but sadly, it appears that I've done so in vain. Will you give it a rest? Hillary lost. The will of the voters was not ignored. There were no dirty tricks. People weren't blinded by race (you do, hopefully, realize how offensive such an insinuation is to we of color). She lost. If you really think that the GOP wouldn't have had an attack plan prepared for Hillary, against whom they've got a couple of decades worth of material, you are deranged.

Yes, Palin showed she could make a strong speech without making a fool out of herself. You know as well as I do that she offered no substantive policy details. It was all "I'm from a small town, the media is a bunch of elites picking on me, and Obama is an elitist." A noun, a verb, and a sarcastic Obama attack. Whoopdie dang do!

If you choose to proceed through this mortal coil carrying your burden of grievance, that's fine. If doing so causes you to obfuscate the truth to the degree that you do, that's fine as well. With supporters such as you, Hillary Clinton does not need enemies.

Sarah Palin Supports Aerial Killing of Wolves and Bears

When I heard that McCain had chosen Governor Palin as his VP running mate, I couldn't believe my ears! I had been following and supporting a campaign to end the aerial killing of wolves and bears in Alaska, something which Gov. Palin fully supports. The sad part is, we lost the campaign to outlaw this practice due to being outfunded (there is some serious corruption in the State of Alaska).

Here is a link to more information about this issue. Please share this with everyone you know. You can watch a powerful video by Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, and then share it with every wildlife lover and voter you know:

Pub political handlers are hoping nobody will notice that Palin is in way over her head if they can just get up enough bluster. So far they're not pulling it off.

Palin's snarky speech and her light-weight, questionable record guarantee that she won't be restoring any of the respect America has lost under Bush. Right now the pubs are just hoping against hope that she won't become an even bigger embarrassment than she's already been.

pit bull

It's interesting how little Miss nobody can aspire to a position beyond her abilities.

feminism, sexism, bla-bla-bla....

So, I'm listening to CNN and here come the comments from the GOP that Palin is a hard-working "mom", devoted "mom" and a woman of strong family values and traditions... ?????? This has nothing to do with good politics, sexism or feminism... this is the hippocritical bull!*&t I'm talking about. Any devoted, hard-working, "soccer" mom out there knows exactly what I'm talking about. I am THRILLED to see woman out there in politics, law, the medical field and everywhere... and when my time as a mom of two teenage children has passed, I will make every effort to get back in the race myself... but to actually have the thought that someone as false and hippocritical as Palin might actually run the country God forbid McCain has another heart attack???? Hey, if you're going to run for office, you KNOW you're family is going to be put on the trial stand and thrown into the limelight. How much does that say about a "devoted" mom of 5? Especially one with such strong, traditional family values. Finish your job at home, then make waves out in the world. Your kids need you!
