She's not a pit bull. I have known human put bulls. There are people out there who will make pacifists reach for a gun out of fear and loathing. Palin is not that scary or impressive. The "pit bull" language is not accurate or appropriate. She's a weasel. Or a rat if you will. I have no problems with calling politicans of either gender weasels, rats, or pigs (in a trough, corruptly gorging on public funds). But save pit bull for the truly psycho politicos (people who advocate killing people, for instance). Don't exaggerate.

The long awaited Sarah Palin spoke with such vitriol it stunned me. Slicing and dicing her way through the hard right's agenda and hitting all the hot buttons. She got them lathered up and panting. Tonight she earned her title as a pit-bull in lipstick. I just don't know if we can withstand another four years of divide and conquer politics. Obama gave us food for thought, Palin gave us food poisoning.

Last I checked, Governor Palin was running for Vice-President, not President. I believe, though I may be wrong, that Obama is running for President. Given that President <> Vice-President, how did you reach your conclusion that Governor Palin is "running against" Obama?

I couldn't watch the speech, I was already sick, but am glad to hear it was so dreadful and vicious that it will reveal her shallowness and pettiness on its own.

But Joe Biden still shouldn't show contempt for her when he debates her. Just get her on being sarcastic and ply her over and over on the issues and her falsehoods....

At yahoo, they pulled out some of her more egregious lies, and did a concise summary of how Obama's plan would give middle income taxpayers about 2% more in after tax income than McCain. So supporting Obama means keeping more take home pay than McCain.
