    Terrible speech

The whole night has been bitter, angry and frequently filled with incredibly ironic contradictions. I felt the entire feel of the speech was amateurish in it's delivery and tone. I'm surprised to read so many positive reactions to her from the media. It's insulting and sexist! Is the bar for her set so low because she's a neophyte, or because she's a woman?

Very disappointing. She's using this aw shucks hockey mom image as a way to deflect criticism. This is what people want of women in politics? She's a freaking stereotype, ready to bake cookies, and put on a little lip gloss to get her way with the good old boys!

McCain has a running mate that should set women back from this level of political achievement for decades.
