It's hard to know what Obama can do to respond to Palin's really over the top attacks on him--did Palin go to law school? If not, it was pretty stupid for her to attack Obama on questions of writing legislation or anything remotely like his legal credentials.
His perfect pitch on her daughter now makes him look less poised and gracious and more like a bit of a ninny after Palin's non-stop personal attacks on him. Yet if he swings back, he'll look like he's hitting the darling of the right-wing, I mean mainstream, media, because she certainly charmed the socks off the male commentators on PBS... PBS what the hell has happened to this country?
I think it's time to let Biden loose and not be so naive as to think you can be completely "above it all" and still win. They should jump on the "victory in Iraq" moment. And if they say "we're not going negative," I'm going to scream.
