Threatening to "cut someones nuts off" is funny. Wow. What if Jesse made some comment about how he wanted to rip Clinton's uterus out? Not so funny? Oh, right, that would be misogynistic! Or racist against middle aged white women!
Look, I think Jesse Jackson and anyone else has the right to think whatever the hell they want about Barack Obama. He's condescending to black folk (because you and Jesse Jackson are the deciders on that) or he's an empty suit, or unqualified, etc. However, I do think you should strive to keep the tone civil and not threaten castration because somone doesn't agree with you. Is that too much to ask? That Rev. Jackson, the self-appointed spokesman for black folk, not fantasize aloud about doing serious harm to the presumptive democratic nominee?

"Partial Birth" is exactly what is says - the baby is pulled partically out and then the doctor continunes to either cut of limbs or puncture the skull. In other weores, he mutilate the baby before complete birth. Amazing, simply amazing any woman would agree think this ws okay such as you. Obama and McCain, though they may not be the people we wuld like to see running as President, the difference is like night and day. Obama is scary. Has an agenda. Is all that Rev. J. Wright is but as Wright said, Obama is saying what he needs and has to say as a politician to get what he wants as he had to say as a preacher what he said and will continue to say. Senator Obama,
Today you voted to destroy the Constitution. You betrayed millions of supporters like myself when you voted away the 4th Amendment today. No amount of spin on your part is going to change the fact that you and your fellow Congressmen stabbed every American in the back today. You and the rest of your compatriots in the Senate and House have lost all claims to legitimacy. You have betrayed your oath of office, the Constitution and the People.
I cannot begin to express how violated, molested and utterly betrayed I feel by what you have done. I feel duped, suckered, hoodwinked and bamboozled. I feel like I have been robbed, raped and left bleeding in a dark alley.
Goodbye, Senator. This is a deal breaker. I will not be voting in November. You have destroyed what little hope I had left for my country. I now know without doubt that absolutely nobody in my government can be trusted. You and all your fellow traitors inside the beltway can go to hell. There is no excuse for what you have done and no possible explanation or apology will right this wrong.
In closing, Senator, I leave you with a reminder and fair warning from our founders.

I feel no shame for having taken a chance that you might be different, Senator. However, knowing now that you have taken ranks with the most vile among us, to remain in your camp would bring enduring shame and dishonor upon my soul.

it used to be both pro and anti obama (pro-hillary was expressed as anti-O). now it is majority anti-O. the few old prObamas left are mostly women. is this a viable readership? i don't think so. negative doesn't sell - it can attract, but not sell.
Gail Collins wrote a pretty good piece on Obama and FISA. I don't understand politics but it sort of made sense.

you have a lot of nerve calling anything Obama did (besides beating Clinton fair and square) unforgivable.
I mean, she’s got to have her belief in prayer restored or something. Here she’s been pretending to really like Obama since he won the nomination. She's wanted us all to think she really was a non-partisan observer who just felt it necessary, in the interest of democracy and a free press, to attack Obama remorselessly throughout the primaries. But lately she's had to make nice-nice. It’s been killing her. And here comes this gift from the gods. You know she got on her knees before her autographed copies of It Takes a Village and Living History making obeiscance to Saint Hillary for delivering this miracle.
And boy does she go to town with it! This isn’t just a bad policy move, or a possible threat to getting a Democratic back in the White House next Novemember. It’s a BETRAYAL. It's Judas Time. Wow.
Now, you know that if Hillary had done this, we’d be subjected to an analysis of how Joan’s “disappointed’ but nonetheless not willing to count Hillary out. We’d be encouraged to look at the thing from the postion of political maneuvering and the need to capture a broader base. We’d be told to really consider the situation before we judged her. But Obama? Hell, no!
Of course I’m upset about FISA. Of course my image of Obama is tarnished. But tell me, what is a bigger betrayal: voting for the FISA bill or the war that made it possible?

No doubt Obama stepped in it big time with this one, and Hillary will get a charge out of nobly voting against the bill, while Joan tosses back Tequila shots as she blasts Leslie Gore's "You Don't Own Me" loud enough for every floor of the Salon offices to hear. But come Novemeber I say Obama will still be the better presidential choice than McCain, and still the better choice than Hillary Clinton.
