Obama
Re : "so court racist voters then. Court rush limbaugh's dittohead sabotuers. that is really going to help clinton the democratic party and the nation. NOT. :)"
Hillary is not a racist. And as for courting Republican voters, wasn't it Obama who encouraged Republicans to be "Democrats for a Day"? If Obama wins, I bet you anything he picks a Republican VP.
And as for Hillary, like I said before, she can say that we need to come together, but ultimately it is up to Obama to earn his own votes. After having his surrogates call her unethical, racist, etc he expects her to bring in the vote for him? Like she's some field captain or precint worker? I don't think so.

ok your opinion
"Obama's crybabies
Mike, I know you're not accustomed to your guy getting criticized but he'd better get used to it. He has had smooth sailing from a press corp that have had a crush on him and like you, they overlook all of his failings. To at least half of the Democrats, however, Senator Obama is inexperienced at best and downright dangerous at worst. We know how you have a blind hatred of women and the Clintons but that is no excuse for supporting someone that you know in your heart will cause us to have a Republican president in the WH in 2009.
-- Lezah2 "
you hate obama, fine. your not alone. But george bush earned his hate. clinton has earned her hate. What has obama done to earn his hate from you people?
You think he will be a bad president, fine. Don't vote for him. But are you willing to give him a chance? Are you going to at least allow him to make a mistake befor eyou hate him. To hate a man because he is not experianced is lunacy. WHEN he BECOMES PRESIDENT, he will make mistakes. Wait until that day to hate and blame all the worlds ills on him, gop.
Again, bush has earned his hatred. He and many of his court should be in prison right now. There is a legit reason for his hate. He has destroyed our great nation? Obama? when and where? don't hate attack and blame the messanger gop. give the guy a chance. We are aemricans. Obama is an american. Your hatered and ripping down of obama is a self fulfilling prophecy. Which is more important to you clinton supporters (gop), Obama failing or american succedding. think long and hard before yoru rip this great nation to shreds and sabtage the next us president FOR NOTHING

ai yi yi, lezah
He knows his supporters have dug in their heels and will probably terrorize neighborhoods if Obama is not the nominee and/or later when he doesn't win the presidency.
Terrorize neighborhoods??
Oh, man. This is exactly the kind of comment I should disengage from.
I'll just say that it's remarkable that you're willing to say that publicly.

Obama and the press
debaser: Yes, the press played Jeremiah over and over again after Fox released the tapes on their news programs. The other news media had to give it attention because they were losing viewers to Fox. But they were devastated and spent hours justifying why Wright was not a problem for Obama. Now they say it's over and Wright is now off limits, just as Michelle Obama is off limits, and Obama is off limits, and ad nauseum. They had all known about the tapes for months but refused to air them. I'm sure even you saw the tapes on Youtube for months before they were shown on Fox. And Fox has more stuff that they're waiting to air because they want to make sure Obama is the nominee first.

Lezah - Sadly typical of Hillary supporters
1. "Threatens" to vote for McCain, as if we're supposed to beg her to come back into the fold? Check.
2. Suggests the media has it in for Hillary, as if Obama would still be considered a viable candidate after 11 straight crushing losses and an insurmountable shortfall in delegates? You betcha.
3. Implies tha I have a "blind" hatred of women and the Clintons? Of course.
Your depthless self-pity is juvenile and pathetic. Go whine to your guidance counselor. I don't want your vote. In fact, I forbid you from voting for Obama this fall.

true, but on our terms
"Hillary is not a racist. And as for courting Republican voters, wasn't it Obama who encouraged Republicans to be "Democrats for a Day"? If Obama wins, I bet you anything he picks a Republican VP."
Of course we want to get the republcains to give up on the gop brand and vote with us. Be with our movement. Of course. Are rush's people going to vote clinton in nov?
It's about them coming over on our terms, as opposed to clinton who meets them half way or on their terms. The gop is done, like clinton. they do not have the clout to be making demands, much like clinton.
Again, if clitnon really wants unity, she should start attacking rush limbaugh for what he's doing. She should denounce the people who vote for her because of skin tone. She is becoming a republcain to beat them. Obama is turning republcains into democrats. If you can't understand that your either a propogandist or don't know the game, or what yoru talking about. No offense intended.

Hillary wanted Obama to denounce and repudiate Wright, which Obama did. Now she must denounce and repudiate Limbaugh and her constituency that will not vote for Obama by virtue of race alone. Where is her moral equivalency when she uses the same rhetoric like Wright - Harworking whites?
But Bill Clinton has courted Limbaugh which really did save her Indiana which would have otherwise gone to Obama and closed the race. In Hillary's book, what's good for the goose is not good for the gander.

@Person (scalia)
Look, I'm fine if we simply say that there are certain skill sets that require training and basic levels of intelligence. I'm not willing to say that choosing the president requires a very specialized type of knowledge.
I always get a huge kick out of how people paint Noam Chomsky as an example of an elitist, yet his entire social argument is that "the people" by and large know exactly what needs to be happening. It takes some specialized intelligence to moniter and document all the mechaniations through which collections of power try to manipulate and control "the people", but that has nothing to do with the basic and reasonable intelligence that most of us have. People might not agree with Chomsky's basic notion of how power functions in this country, but a quick glance at the record shows that he believes in the people more than almost any mainstream politician I can think of...
I can think of three uneducated women in Missouri who I would unhesitatingly put on the supreme court and trust that they would be able to work their way through each and every decision as well as Scalia or Robertson. And, barring prejudice against their lack of education, I have no doubt that the average democrat would be able to assess them as highly qualified. And I don't dismiss how wondeful it is that Scalia has command of all sorts of concepts to justify his decisions. I get that. I just would trust any of these women over him in figuring out what is fair.
