Let's call that what it is. blackmail. Take yoru old ladies clinton, to the gop. I that is what they are, take them. think about the future. We have the internet now. sabotage and blackmail as they might, it's all moot.

for joan
this remionds me of the republcains and their "iron my shirt" ad. These republcains are nuts. Burning the candle at both ends. Shame on clinton for playing along.
Half of her support is from the gop. Why? Sabotage of the opposition? For some reason I don't think they have HER or the democrats best interest at heart, or the nations. Jsut a hunch.
"During CNN’s primary coverage last night, a segment was about Sen. Clinton discussing the media’s acceptance of misogyny into their coverage. Wolf called her words “provocative” as the panel begins to debate it. Later he says it’s a little more difficult to discern than racism. Jeffrey Toobin makes some valid points about a NY Times article which referred to her as a “white bitch,” (hello Wolf) saying that you can’t say something like that about an African American. Not so for Republican Alex Castellanos, who not only disagrees, but thinks she is a “bitch” and says so with smile in his heart. Why does he have a seat with “the best political team” in America? Because he makes disgusting Republican attack ads. Being a distributor of slime in American politics really pays off. I’m sorry, he should be fired on the spot by CNN. What can I call John McCain now? Is it OK to call him pr*&k on TV? Is that OK? “Hi, I’m Wolf Blitzer and John McCain is a pr*&k. We’ll have that scoop and much, much more as the best political team in America continues right after the break.”
And to see Borger and Brazile—sitting there trying to have a rational discussion after he says the things that he does is just as ludicrous. Borger’s retort is to say that a lot of voters don’t feel that way and Donna mildly says Alex has a problem with her. I mean, really. What does he have to do to offend them?

Please don't come to my blog and call me a liar anymore. If you want to know which Obama supporters give Obama a bad name, you might have to look in the mirror.
Carol, we're just going to have to agree to disagree. I think I've done everything I can to make you see why I feel the way I do about a vocal segment of Obama supporters. Really, just as there's no way, scientifically, to know what percentage of Hillary Clinton's voters are supporting her because of racism, there will probably never be any way for you or I to determine how much of my frustration with Obama supporters is a result of having been called a racist and a liar on my own blog for more than a year. It definitely gets to you. I'm going to try to stay out of here for a while to clear my head. Thanks for all you do to keep everyone honest and playing nice.

debaser
What is absurd is the presumptive nominee losing by 41 and 35 as the campaign winds down. It's embarrassing.

West Virginia And Kentucky
Were 132-56 Hillary.

@The Notorious W.E.S. (weather patterns)
When Obama loses I just hope it looks a lot like this garunteed loss he is pulling of in the primary. It used to scare me to hear so many smart people flatly "know" that he could not win this thing. I think you were one of those people who knew he might win the primary but couldn't possibly win the general.
The problem is that even if our predictions turn out to be right, we don't know if our reasoning was. Look, if Obama ends up beating McCain I garuntee that you, The Notorious W.E.S., will have a reason that makes sense for yourself. That is, ultimately, what is so comforting about all this certainty. For as certain as you are now that he will lose, it's not like you will be very surprised if he wins, right? You'll be telling your friends and family exactly why you think he won. Why does it feel so much more intelligent acknowleding it's not all that predetermined?!!!

the race is over wes
Get over it. Racists and republcains in appalicha are not america. America voted. We have a nominee. If you don't liek democracy move to africa, or south america. Majority rule here. america is not a racist nation. America is not a fascist nation. West virgina and kentucky are not representative of america as a whole, thank god. We wouldn't have made it this far as a nation if they were. :)

yeah but wes...
By that logic it's also "embarassing" that Clinton hasn't been able to expand on her base one smidge.
Why hasn't the better candidate (in your opinion) not been able to expand her base, and instead has only been able to staunch the flow of support by flinging the proverbial kitchen sink at her fellow democrat (let me repeat that: Fellow. Democrat.)
I guess it means we're doomed no matter who gets the nod aren't we?
Might as well take our t-ball and go home I guess.
darn...just when I was getting excited about American politics again...ho hum.
