If she stays in the race she should focus on her strengths, not Obama's flaws.

    Faith in my fellow Americans?

Faith that they won't elect McCain?

Do you mean the same fellow Americans who kept the vote on Bush close enough that the Republicans were able to cheat him to victory in 2000? And then, after seeing how clueless and inept he is, did the same in 2004? Who overwhelmingly supported an unjust and unjustifiable war? Who, when that war went inevitably wrong, now want to legislate troop withdrawal regardless of any consequences? Who cheer for tax cuts and increased spending and outsourcing?

It is my faith in their inability to judge their own interests, therefore voting against them, that makes me certain that President McCain is in our future.

Six months ago, the idea of McCain as the nominee had most Republicans angry or depressed. Now they march in lockstep behind him. Meanwhile the Democrats are doing their utmost to destroy any possibility of defeating him. Even without Clinton in the race to dilute the Democratic vote.

(Yes, I realize you may have been typing tongue in cheek. But I felt like ranting. I have to deal with my despair in some fashion.)
