  • Obama's VP...

will NOT be the Hildabeast. Obama's VP will be Bill Richardson.

  • Obama gracious Hillary not

Obama always congratulates Hillary even on her narrow wins, but Hilary never congratulates Obama. He talks about "we" and "you" she talk about I, ME. I, ME, I ,ME. Last night I counted the number of times she used "I" in her speech. It was amazing.

I'm glad he talked about party unity, because at the Jefferson-Jackson dinners in IN and NC dinner he did not talk about party unity and she did.

It's going to be much different for Democrats this election with Obama. When Kerry ran in my district, 2 months before the general election, not even the Democratic party office was up and running, much less a candidates campaign office. Obama will is ready to get on the ground on day one for general elections as he still has most of his campaign offices open across the country. Here in CA the Obama campaign is already organizing for the General. Volunteers have geared up for a massive voter registration drive across this state and the country.

  • Obama's VP

I hope it's not Richardson. I doubt it will be. He does need those white working class voters too. He will pick a centrist VP, but not Hillary.

  • @virtue001 (VP)

I will eat an imaginary shoe if goes with Richardson...I can't hardly imagine it. I'm not even sure if I have an opinion on it yet. Don't make me start thinking this early in the morning.

There is a rumor that Barack is waiting to see how wins Dancing with the Stars before he announces his VP. I can't wait!

  • Hillay's Savvy?

Sallythewally: Obama has savvy, he does not need it from Hillary. In fact he has more savvy. She has a terrible reputation of being very nasty to white House staff. The majority of Senators in the U.S. Senate have endorsed Obama, so they think he has what it takes to be president. He also has a much more well organized campaign than Hillary's, so he does not need her campaign savvy. Obama is ready to go day one of the general. You may not realize it but Obama's campaign manager is very experienced, and was the manager of Hillary's first Senate run.

I think it would be stupid to have either Hillary or Bill campaign for him. On the other hand, the leaders in PA and OH said they were more than willing to campaign for Obama.

  • But Joan is Just Busy!!!!!

I know that some of you are looking forward to Joan's comments today because you want fresh opportunities to fight her courageously.

But I just want to see what she has to say on such a big day in the political world!!!!

  • Gracious NC Victory

Thank you Joan, I think you are the first to acknowledge Barack's graciousness. He has always been polite and very gracious - unlike Clinton. I would like to know why we don't hear more of this from the media!

  • @Rambling Rose 22

Just curious, how many cats do you have, to go along with that crazy.

  • NO vote for Obama

I am a single mother and a Hillary supporter. I will not vote for Obama. The Democratic Party will not be united in November if Obama is the nominee!

  • Carol!

Fire up the engines of the Obamamobile, cos we who are Barack-man's legion of countless minons, must endeavor to spread our infection, of caddishly insidious opinions.

Where's Powdered Toastman when you need him?

  • Why Kelly!2

Because he ran a successful campaign and more people (not you for sure) think he is better. He did not tell MI/FL to move their campaigns. He didn't steal votes, or cheat.

He managed his finances better so he can afford more TV ads. He fine tuned his message and stuck to it, regardless of polls. Convinced more supers to side with him.

All this is fact not opinion, he is winning by votes, not back-room deals.

Exactly what bothers you so much?

I would vote for Hillary if she wins, in the very least I would do it for your children I have never met. Because I can put aside my personal dislikes and unite, so your kids don't have to go get blown up into hamburger in some god-forsaken oil field.

Now what is it that bothers you?

Say it with me, Hi I'm kelly my President is Barack Hussein Obama, Leader of the Free world.

If that frightens you? I feel sorry for you and all the kids McCain is going to kill.

  • Obama Whistling Dixie

If Obama thinks he can be gracious (after all, he thinks he has won this)and Floridians and Hillary supporters in general will rally to his side he forgets that the DNC has abandoned us and we can just as easily abandon them. Many of us have been lifelong democrats (nice to have new blood but we have been supporting the party for many years) and do not like being treated like 2nd class citizens. Obama is winning this nomination thru early exhaultation by the media and now the almost exclusive black voters. We who support Hillary Clinton do so because of her past experience and the real feel that she believes in this country and her ability to change the status quo in these trying times. We are not interested in a president-in-training who has been chosen by the media. If anyone thinks that she is stealing the election we believe it is the media who is doing that. I want to decide for myself who is the best candidate not one chosen by the media.

  • Repulsed!

I am just so disgusted by the Clinton campaign. I know Joan Walsh thinks that HRC's race-baiting is "politically smart," but I feel even Karl Rove would even be outraged at the gutter-type slime of the Clintons. Lee Atwater turned over in his grave, saying "please quit, you're disgracing yourself and the country that you represent."

These antics are bringing this country to a new low. And that is saying a lot considering the outrages of the Bush administration.

HRC has reached the nadir of humanity in using dirty, vile, slime. And she tries to keep changing the game by moving the goal posts in every inconceivable direction.

I think the country is lost! Down the ol' drain we go!
