    gas tax sham

what an utter canard, parroting John McCain in the most pathetic, bobbleheaded mimicry. Prominent economists have already projected that, even if this gas tax monty were jimcracked into place, that prices, driven by demand increases, would very soon be just about exactly where they are. Thus, Americans would save nothing. This is as whorish and unvarnished a pander for votes that I can recall. Beyond the Valley of the Pitiful Dolls.
