I posted a nearly identical reaction about 100 comments ago. I can't see what the problem is.

Haut, (Continued from last post)
The only ones who should be and who are likely to use this “issue” against the Clinton’s are the Republicans, and there are plenty of Republicans that have problems with infidelity, like Henry Hyde (One of the biggest role players in the attempt to impeach Clinton), David Vetter, Larry Craig just to name a few. I counter this also by saying “Yeah, Bill Clinton may have screwed an intern, but George Bush screwed the entire nation and the world! So I think there is a slight difference!”
To those who say we should not use “guilt by association” with Wright and Obama; I ask why do you and Obama conveniently and hypocritically use “guilt by association” with Hillary and Bill Clinton when talking about how awful the 90’s were, how the 90’s could have been better, how awful NAFTA is, on and on and on? How is this fair? It is not!
You think this issue with Wright and Obama is NOT an issue? How is it going to be in the future now that Obama, the candidate of peace, hope, and unity, has turned Wright into “the enemy?” Now with all of the problems and “issues” this country faces domestically and abroad, we now are going to be forced to have a President who already has claimed “enemies” named Jeremiah Wright and Farrakhan who is the leader of the Nation of Islam and is also presently providing Jeremiah Wright protection from his paramilitary, which IS AN ISSUE and WILL REMAIN AN ISSUE! Why doesn’t anyone get it?
The media failed to disclose or investigate all of Bush’s “guilt by association” friends and foes, which have affected policies that have led to the problems we are now suffering such as two wars, the crumbling housing market, the falling dollar, the outrageous gas prices, and a potential recession. Do the names Jerry Falwell, Kenneth Lay, Alberto Gonzales, Scooter Libby, Karl Rove, Harriett Meyers, Karen Hughes, Paul Wolfowitz, Eric Prince, Rupert Murdoch, King Abdullah just to name a few off of the top of my head mean anything to you? These are all “associates” of Bush’s that should have been disclosed prior to his election, then maybe just maybe, we could have avoided the hell we are now in because of George Bush and all of his “guilt by associations!”
Also, there is a huge difference between the one time action of Bill Clinton Vs what Wright has done. Jeremiah Wright’s sentiments go very deep in attacking a multitude of people, religions, and ethnicities, which is by far in no way compared to a “typical man thinking with the wrong head.” I fail to see how this action of Bill Clinton went past gossiping and opinionated people who dislike Bill Clinton to have something to tear him down as a person and as a President. Jeremiah Wright and the potential problems he poses on the American people are way deeper and beyond just opinions and something to gossip about. Bill Clinton’s action did not make me lose sleep at night and make me have nightmares. This issue does give me nightmares, because it scares me for Barack and Michelle Obama’s safety. We all know their safety is at risk if they are sincere in separating themselves from these people, and if they are not sincere, then this also scares me, because the influence of people like Wright and Farrakhan go way beyond the realms of average comprehension. These are organized and dangerous people with a very dangerous and Anti-American agenda. Either way, it is a liability and potential danger on not just the entire Democratic Party, but the entire country and world if it is not resolved the way it needs to be resolved.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT PAYBACK
THAT YOU AND THE REST OF THE PUNDITS DON'T GET?
Typical of your impulsive judgment, you see and hear only what you want to see and hear.
Would you change your mind about this sad and angry Obama if you knew that his anger was mostly because he knew that Wright surfacing at this time was a direct result of Obama's little speech in Philadelphia. And gee whiz! We thought Obama was saying kind words about the guy, right? Or was he? I mean, Obama said he could no longer disavow the guy than he could his grandmother. Bullshit! He disavowed a long time ago, and Wright knew it and so did Obama when he spoke it.
Obama threw the guy under the bus the night before he announced he was running for President. He knew Wright was problematic from the get-go. Obama was being asked as far back as atleast December about some of Wright's sermons. He ignored it.
The Obama campaign has not been forthcoming or honest about so much, it's hard to start itemizing it. Obama was pissed - again - because this clown was jeopardizing his nomination. Tough.
SO, I'LL ASK AGAIN: WHAT IS IT ABOUT PAYBACK THAT YOU AND THE REST OF THE MEDIA DON'T UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS MESS?

@sugarman & thrasher
Thrasher, every thought doesn't arise from a cliche. If I said that some Blacks fall into pathological traps does not mean I am damning us all with the "worst enemy" tag.
Sugarman, having "a car and a computer" (I hope you were being witty) does not - to me - announce having made it. Life, and it's battles are a whole lot more complicated than that.
And last, neither me or my children believe that White people should feel guilty for the next 100 years about past atrocities. We don't want pity. Just recognize and stop. The hardest thing to do, for anybody, is not be racist against somebody. My Father hated Jews, for whatever reason. He never said it to us directly as children but made enough comments for us to figure out. My brother and I thought he was crazy, since a lot of our pals were Jewish. You are absolutely right about many Latino's. I've had many hundreds who worked for me (mostly Dominicans) and they are very color conscious. I wasn't naive because I never gave a shit about what anyone thought of me anyway (I always hear from White people, even good friends, that I am arrogant. I guess if a Black man can hold his own anywhere he is arrogant - see Obama). I also recognize that there is no race that wouldn't crap on the other if it had the power.
By the way, my handle is 'bringbackmalcolm' - as in Malcolm X, because I find him admirable. As an upright man willing to reflect and see where he has erred, not too proud to admit it and change, but still comfortably Black.
